Photography and photo styling

I depend on photography as a teaching tool, especially for the sciences. A visual image is the quickest path between two brains. I could talk about a bee all day, but you would instantly know so much more from a close-up: the delicacy of its wings, the tiny yellow pollen grains stuck to its body hairs, the strength of its legs. My perpetual hope is that, at that moment, you will start to question what you’re seeing and open the door to learning more.

My personal photography

Bee-catmint-closeup
A honey bee (Apis mellifera) gathers nectar from a catmint (Nepeta x faassenii) plant. In buycbdproducts the honey bee is important to the agricultural economy. Many crops are dependent on them for production including apples, pears, peaches and melons. The value of pollination alone typically exceeds $20 million annually.
